Home School Day offers you and your children the opportunity to visit West Virginia’s first Smithsonian affiliated museum and experience its hands-on, educational activities. We recommend that you allow a minimum of three hours to tour the museums, visit with the blacksmith and other artisans, do chores in the Children’s Activity Museum, explore the petting zoo, ride the wagon, create in the MakerSpace and have fun in the Discovery Zone play area. SAVE THE DATE: JUNE 2, 2018 Standing Out in Our Field 5 is the annual scholarship fundraiser for the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. This year’s event will begin with a reception at 6 p.m., followed by dinner & dancing from 7 to 11 p.m. The scholarship fundraiser will be hosted on a large farm in Proctorville, Ohio, at the home of Dr. Bobby Miller (Class of 1997) and Eric Hardin-Miller.
